I love a good late summer wedding, and today on the blog, I have a few for you guys to check out! These beauties are from my adventures with An Affair To Remember and I’m totally pumped to be sharing. First up is a stunner! This bride and groom chose a minimalist vibe, sticking with geometrical elements highlighted by copper and navy details. Accordingly, their florals were simple- white with lots of greenery and the overall effect was spectacular. Jody and the bride and groom decided on three different kind of centerpieces and lots of twinkling votives.  As a result, there was a ton of texture and variety and, as always, AATR made it look perfect. The event really highlighted the details of The Caramel Room’s space, and it was a ton of fun to shoot!

After that adventure, we had a couple more weddings on deck – here are the highlights, including a beautifully fluffy peach bouquet and other personal florals (including a dog collar OM actual G) for a celebration at the Missouri History Museum. That same weekend, we also did gorgeous custom arbor installation (MacGyvered by yours truly, with safety pins and zipties) at Nobelois Vineyards.

The following weekend found us back at Silver Oaks, which is always a favorite. This wedding was right up my alley – we’re talking boho vibes, burgundy velvet and anemones galore. It was totally badass. So, the floral design featured a ton of white fluffy blooms with soft and wild greenery. Add to that  just a pop of burgundy and black and white, and it makes for pure awesomeness. Since the guys wore classic tuxes and  it was in rustic wine-inspired setting at Silver Oaks, it was beautiful.

Their ceremony was outside on the back patio on a perfectly sunny afternoon, which meant all of the pampas grass on the halo was just GLOWING aka a photography dream. And, after the ceremony was over, we moved the halo arch inside and used it as a backdrop for their sweetheart table. I always love getting to see decor reused – totally gives me more time to love on it. OH ALSO, they did a feast tables, which each featured a small cake -the cake’s topper was the table number. Each table got to serve itself cake! Probably a good thing I wasn’t invited, as no one at my table would have gotten any cake! Take a look below!

That same weekend, Jody designed a tablescape and compote for a styled shoot at 612 North, which means I got to play with it in the studio before it went out. And, after I realized it included purple velvet, bronze & mixed metallic votives and a west-coast inspired ombre flush centerpiece design filled with anemones, there was no way I was letting it out the door without getting to shoot it first. So, we created a little baby styled shoot in the studio and I was a happy gal. Siri, please play “That’s What I Like” by Bruno Mars. It was totally gorgeous and I’m sure it looked incredible at 612! Take a look below.
