Ugh, I love engagement sessions, and this one was especially fun. I’ve said that I love my clients about a million times before, and that is especially true of Amber and Andrew!! I met them originally when I shot Bethany and Corey’s wedding in October 2018 – they were in the wedding party (and beyond adorable, omg). When Amber reached out to me after she and Andrew got engaged last year, I was so flipping excited to hear from her and excited to be part of their big day!! Honestly, it was the biggest compliment.  Because they had so much fun at Bethany and Corey’s wedding and loved the pictures so much, they wanted to include me in theirs. I maybe teared up a little. No big deal.

Without a doubt, Amber and Andrew’s wedding is going to be a dream – they’re having it at her parents’ house in a small town in Illinois. It’s right on the river, where they have a whole bunch of property and fields and amazing trees and I seriously cannot wait. So, we did their engagement session there as a trial run, and it was so special. Obviously, there are a ton of memories in the space already and I can’t wait to make some more wonderful ones this September. Also, they are so stinking cute together I can’t even handle it. Especially with all the beautiful fall colors and amazing golden morning light and dogs and cats, it was basically a dream come true. Check out all of the goodness below!!
